From September 8 to 23, the exhibition “Everything You Treasure—For a World Free From Nuclear Weapons,” jointly created by the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) and the SGI (Soka Gakkai International), was shown at the University of Guanajuato in Mexico. Dr. José Maldonado Salas, general coordinator of academic development at the university, delivered welcoming remarks at the opening ceremony on September 8. On the same day, Soka Gakkai of Mexico organized an online seminar on peace and nuclear disarmament. Speakers included Rafael Medina Martínez, president of the Alfonso García Robles Diplomatic Foundation, and Dr. Óscar Álvarez Araya, former ambassador of Costa Rica to Taiwan.
